"Hello, my name is Jason. I graduated from Biola University with a degree in Elementary Education and have over five years of experience working with elementary-aged students. In addition, I spent three years tutoring upper grade students (4th–6th) in math, where I developed a strong passion for supporting learners as they tackle challenging concepts. In addition to tutoring different students I am currently working in a public school helping students in all subjects like, Math English, Science and History.

I chose to become a teacher because I genuinely love working with children and find great joy in witnessing those “lightbulb moments” when a concept finally makes sense. Teaching is deeply rewarding not only because I get to guide students, but also because it allows me to learn alongside them. I’ve discovered that teaching is one of the best study tools—it sharpens my own understanding while encouraging me to adapt and grow. Each student brings unique strengths, needs, and perspectives, and I believe that embracing these differences keeps the classroom dynamic, engaging, and meaningful.
