"Hi! My name is Samantha, and I am an undergraduate student at The Johns Hopkins University studying biomedical engineering. I am most experienced in teaching the SAT, having scored a 1520. In my senior year of high school, I was trained by Khan Academy and the Collegeboard through Schoolhouse.world on how to teach students from all over the world many different subjects. I am most comfortable teaching the SAT, but I also have experience in all math, reading, and writing up to 12th grade. During my time there, I received numerous positive reviews and feedback from my students, and I look forward to applying what I have learned to helping students at Wyzant.

My teaching style is largely student-centered. As a tutor, it is my job to create an environment where my students feel comfortable and motivated to learn. All of my lessons will be designed to suit each of my students. My lessons generally start off with a warmup question, followed by a brief lesson on the topic. Then, I will go over several tutor-led practice questions, and then finally student-led practice questions.
