"I have a degree in Biology (Molecular), graduating with Departmental Honors (1988-1993) from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore.

I have been an educator since 1993, and I've been tutoring full-time since 2012. Tutoring has been a tremendously rewarding shift in my career. As a classroom teacher I came to believe more and more strongly in the importance of the student-teacher relationship, which is why I now tutor full-time. Tutoring is simply the best way to learn. When I left that career to attend grad school in St. Louis, I was the director of training for an academic software group that specialized in tools for research which was used in universities and seminaries worldwide such as Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Duke, Oxford, Cambridge. Their software was widely acclaimed in international journals to be the premier software in the field.

In addition to my career I have had numerous other interesting education experiences:

I was the Christian Education director for my church in Norfolk, VA for nearly seven years. A congregation of ~300, I t" less...
