"Hello! My name is Anna and I specialize in SAT exam preparation. I am currently a student at Johns Hopkins University, majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology and minoring in Spanish. Although I am new to Wyzant, I have many years of both formal and informal tutoring experience. All throughout high school I worked with my peers to help them achieve a greater understanding of the material in their courses. Additionally, as a member of the National Honors Society, I conducted biweekly tutoring in a variety of subjects, including English, calculus, Spanish, chemistry, etc.

I scored an 800/800 on my SAT math section and a 760/800 on SAT English, and I have very current knowledge of what the test is like, what kinds of questions are asked, and the best approaches to being successful on exam day.  Our sessions would involve doing a lot of practice questions so that you could get accustomed to the language used on the SAT, be prepared to tackle any type of problem you are given and develop strategies to manage time. I am a very patient and understanding person, and I would be more than happy to go over any content that you may not have covered in school or that you are uncertain about.  With practice the SAT score is easy to improve, so I am confident that by working together we will be able to make great strides in increasing your score.
