"I am a professional K–12 and college-level educator with over a decade of experience teaching and tutoring across literacy, math, writing, logic, debate, and academic skills development. I have worked in diverse school settings—from middle and high school English and debate to K–2 classrooms focused on foundational literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning.

I hold a B.A. in Philosophy from UCLA and began tutoring through community education initiatives before joining Teach For America, where I taught in Hawai‘i for six years. My background includes English, Spanish, math, logic, test preparation, and public speaking, giving me a deep understanding of how students learn across disciplines and developmental stages.

After relocating to San Francisco, I taught high school English while coaching debate and supporting multilingual learners in academic writing, argumentation, and confidence-building. Alongside academics, I have also coached sports and worked extensively with executive functioning, study skills, and performance mindset—an approach that emphasizes clarity, structure, accountability, and steady growth.

Today, I work with elementary students on reading, phonics, spelling, math foundations, and writing, while also supporting middle school, high school, and college students with writing, logic, literature, debate, test preparation, and college readiness.
