"Hi! My name is Yasel, and I’m a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor with a strong academic foundation in science and math. I hold an Associate’s Degree in Biology and am currently a full-time student working toward my bachelor’s degree in the sciences. My coursework and academic focus have given me in-depth knowledge of biology, anatomy, chemistry, and mathematics, and I enjoy helping students truly understand these subjects—not just memorize them.

I have experience tutoring students from elementary school through high school, as well as assisting college-level peers in introductory biology and anatomy courses. My tutoring includes one-on-one support, peer mentoring, and homework help sessions, and I always aim to make each session engaging, clear, and tailored to the student’s individual learning style.

My teaching approach is patient and supportive. I take the time to break down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps, using examples, visuals, and guided practice to build understanding and confidence.
