"Hello! With two years of lead teaching experience and over a decade of private tutoring experience, I am excited to be joining the Wyzant community. I am certified by New York State to teach grades 5 through 12, but through tutoring, I have worked with students of all ages and grades from K-12. Most often I work with students in developing their proficiency in math and ELA courses, but I also have experience tutoring science and history. I also have experience helping students with test prep for the SAT, ACT, and SHSAT exams.

Fluent in Spanish and certified in special education, I enjoy working with students from diverse backgrounds and have experience explaining complex concepts in simple ways.
