"I have two bachelors degrees (B.S) from Florida International University (FIU). A major in Biological Sciences (with a minor in Chemistry) that I received in 2018 and a major in Environmental Engineering that I received in 2024.

I have participated with the NSF-funded Culturally Responsive Engineering Experience Design and Development (CREED2) program hosted at FIU which partners high school teachers with Latinx and Black undergraduate engineering students in collaborative teams to co-design and implement inclusive, standards-aligned formal and nonformal engineering experiences. I partnered with a Marine Science High School Teacher where I gave 10 lessons over the span of two college semesters (8 months). As part of the program, I had to complete a FIU Teach course which taught how to actively engage students in math and science lessons and utilize technology to promote student learning.
