"Hi, my name is Raimie. I graduated from Valparaiso University with a BA in Elementary Education and a minor in Mild to Moderate Disabilities.

I started tutoring elementary students right after I graduated and have been doing so ever since. In the past five years, I have substitute taught grades K-8 and taught my own class of 3rd graders for three years. I specialize in math, but tutor other subjects as well. This past year I started tutoring in executive functioning for middle school and high school students.

My favorite moments of tutoring are when things finally click for a student and all of a sudden it doesn’t seem as difficult. I love hearing about how school is going for them and what they love most about it. I know it can be difficult to keep a student focused when they aren’t comfortable with someone, so I make it a point to take some time to get to know them when we first meet.
