"I believe that each child can learn with confidence and the right learning materials. I have been a tutor for four years, and a teacher for three. What brings me the most satisfaction as a teacher, and a tutor is watching my students grow in their academics and building their confidence. I first will assess your child to gauge their present level. I will then use various interventions or supplement materials that will best suit your child and their needs, and build their skills in various subjects. I received my teaching credential from UCLA in multiple subjects. I am currently working towards my autism certificate at UCLA.

During my time as a tutor I have given students confidence to become better readers, and to understand what they read. I have used programs to build their writing skills such as, "How to Be a Writer" and "Step up to Writing." I am also familiar with Fontas and Pinnell, a reading program that builds fluency, comprehension, writing and vocabulary.
