"I have two areas of expertise: social studies and the Bible.

I taught social studies at a Christian school in Maryland for a year and know history and government extremely well. I excel in American history. My bachelor's degree was in history and I was a member of the historian's fraternity.

The other area to which I bring excellence is the Bible. I come from an Evangelical Christian point of view--particularly Baptist, Bible Church, Missionary Alliance, and Evangelical Free churches. I did a lot of mentoring as a Nebraska prison religious coordinator (like a chaplain) and as a pastor. I did a lot of work helping individuals understand the Bible.
