"My name is Kevin, and I formerly taught all levels of High School Mathematics for the Douglas County School District in Colorado. I recently earned a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado Denver, and I have since moved to Arizona to work as a Game Mathematician for a local slot machine company. I miss teaching, so I would like to get back in to tutoring.

I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the University of Southern California (USC), and I was a member of the Pi Mu Epsilon Math Honors Society at USC. After graduating from USC, I continued my education in mathematics by completing the Probability, Financial Mathematics, and Mathematical Financial Economics Society of Actuaries exams. While I was a student in college, I ran a successful math tutoring company and tutored high school and college students in Algebra 1/2, Geometry, Statistics, Probability, Calculus, and SAT Math 1/2C. Greater than 95% of my students increased their scores by at least 1 letter grade. I achieved this success rate by following up with students and ensuring that they understood the math as opposed to memorizing answers.
