"With over 5 years of tutoring experience and a degree in education, I am a confident and well-attuned tutor! I am also a certified teacher (all subjects grades 4-8) in Pennsylvania. Learning is my passion in life, and I have built a career around it; learning and applying the evidence-based strategies which best serve an individual student exists at the core of my tutoring. Collaborating with students to create the most helpful supports (i.e., visual, linguistic, or conceptual) deepens content understanding and provides them with skills to become better learners. As a proponent of the growth mindset and the psychology of good teaching, I make sure my students know I value curiosity over correctness during the learning process. Additionally, I utilize a language-based approach to foster literacy across all subjects and empower students to reflect on their learning.

My most frequently tutored subject is math (all levels). I am confident helping students build a strong number-sense, understand operations and relationships, conduct algebraic and geometric analysis, master trigonometry and calculus, and score high on standardized tests. Reading and writing fall into my area of expertise as well. I can assist your student in improving their grammar, organizing their thoughts, carrying out literary analysis, and elevating their reading comprehension. Literacy underscores all subjects, and I love helping students express their ideas in an advanced, effective, and impressive fashion.
