"I graduated from the University of Arizona cum laude with a Bachelor's in Geoscience, and a minor in French. I am currently wrapping up my Masters in Geoscience at Utah State University with an emphasis on Tectonics and Structural Geology. I recently passed the Association of State Boards of Geology (ASBOG) Fundamentals of Geology (FG) Exam in October 2023.

I began tutoring back in high school in one-on-one lessons for French. My first job was at a tutoring center where I worked with students on everything from Pre-K material to AP Prep. Presently and throughout my college career, I worked as a teacher’s aid in labs and have even taught entire labs on my own. The subjects I am most comfortable tutoring in are Geology, French, Algebra/Trigonometry, Biology and Chemistry. In lessons, I like to start by introducing the topic and goals of the lesson, then working through examples. I myself am a visual learner and like to include graphics wherever possible. I encourage my students to ask questions, and typically ask leading questions throughout lessons to encourage my students to be curious. I've found this method of tutoring helps my students internalize and understand the steps required to solve problems on their own.
