"Having taught and tutored math for many years across multiple levels and students of diverse backgrounds, I have the experience and skills that will make you successful in math regardless of your confidence level in the subject. I use examples from real life experiences to make connections between math and your everyday life. My previous tutoring experiences include, but are not limited to, tutoring gifted 5th grade students at a private elementary school as well as tutoring high school students in Algebra and pre-calculus. I have also tutored college students in Algebra and Calculus at a prestigious private university and served as a course developer for the school of engineering's Academic Excellence Workshops at the same university. I have great interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work with students one on one. I will listen to you as an individual student, identify your strengths and help you work through your fears/struggles by exploiting your potential in an engaging manner.
