"I am a University student with an Associate's degree in General Education with an emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, and a bachelor's in linguistics. Also, I have completed my IGETC certificate with a dean's full-time and part-time honors. I was a math tutor at the center for academic success, and a teaching assistant at my community college. I believe that I have gained valuable experience which has strengthened my tutoring skills and teaching methods. I taught students with different cultural backgrounds and languages. As I was tutoring these hardworking students, I also learned from them. I believe that it has helped me grow and become a better tutor and learner. I can help students who are struggling with homework problems by teaching them different ways of approaching the problems. I can provide step-by-step solutions, provide test prep and explain some mathematics concepts and theorems. I can also tutor ESL students or anyone who is looking to improve their English language skills such as essay editing, proofreading, and other correcting methods. I learned to help others become better English learners by teaching them how to be better at speaking, reading, pronouncing, and writing. I was taught the right skills to help ESL learners succeed in their courses. Moreover, I can help high school students with physics, chemistry, and biology. Also, I can help college students with first-semester pre-cal-based physics, general chemistry, introductory biology, and conceptual physics.

I want my students to feel their tutoring sessions are rewarding and beneficial. I will do my best to help the student succeed in his or her class. I believe that tutoring/ teaching should be affordable for all students. I have a passion for teaching and a strong determination to help my students accomplish their educational goals.
