"I am passionate about my work and have spent years studying, working in, and tutoring students in the medical and nursing fields. I am a Master's level Physician Assistant and an RN who graduated summa cum laude. I have eight years of experience as a tutor. I’m skilled at developing therapeutic relationships. I can quickly put people at ease in stressful situations which is useful in developing therapeutic relationships and likewise in collaborating with students preparing for exams.

I enjoy tutoring because I like using my various skills to help students to understand concepts and grow in their confidence. I help students to draw on their clinical knowledge and experience to utilize these skills in studying for and conquering exams.

I specialize in assisting students in all phases of their nursing studies including pre-requisites, nursing courses, and NCLEX preparation. I assess students' knowledge base and identify learning needs to help tailor the tutoring to the unique needs of each student. I spend considerable time incorporating the test-taking strategies necessary to tackle the NCLEX questions themselves. Most students who seek tutoring express concerns about test-taking anxiety and we will work together to alleviate test-taking concerns and help you feel confident and empowered. I am a good test-taker, have a good sense of humor and a calm demeanor. The students that have worked with me have become better test takers too! These attributes are useful as we work together to help you succeed in your studies.

I have flexible hours, including weekends, and offer in-person tutoring. I will travel to you. My base-rate is $55 and I have a 24-hour cancellation policy.
