"My teaching and tutoring experience spans a range of early education, higher education, substituting, private tutoring, IELTS preparation, conversational English, and proofreading. One of the things I love about teaching is helping students see the connections in their learning and helping them realize their full potential as life long learners. My teaching experience includes teaching music to early learners (age 4-7) for two years; graduate teaching assistant in political science for two years; adjunct professor and teaching dual credit for two years; one year of private tutoring and IELTS prep for graduate students; one year proofreading for graduate students.

I have a passion for English language learners, have friends all over the world for whom I have successfully edited their papers written in English. I have two years of experience in private tutoring, including IELTS prep for graduate students, writing skills, and proofreading at the graduate level.

I was the lead graduate assistant as part of a fellowship during my degree, with duties that included providing ad hoc lessons to mega classes (250+), managing student communications with professors, and tutoring students. Afterwards, I worked as an adjunct professor of Political Science in University, Community College, and High School dual credit settings for two years. I have nearly completed my teaching certificate in Social Studies (7-12).
