I developed an after school tutoring program for Title VII students to help with math. I would sit in on the classroom instruction and thought there were better ways to teach math concepts. The program worked well. The students who attended made great improvements.

Some students are visual learners for example, and so visual ways of teaching will be used. I tell stories if students are having a difficult time understanding a reading comprehension exercise. Stories are a fun way of learning.
