I am a Translator and Language Tutor with a passion for languages, which have allowed me to experience the classroom both as a teacher and as a student.

Because of my background, I have a deep understanding of the strategies and techniques a student should use while learning a new language, of the most common difficulties and the emotional involvement.

My tutoring approach is entirely tailored on each student's needs and interests.

Overall, the student has to be as active as possible during our class. I believe that every minute a student dedicates to a class, and every penny spent on it, has to count. For that reason, my classes are not based on long dissertations on grammar. We introduce the rule, understand it and use it right away! Conversation, living language and actual use are my keywords.

I am a big fan of visual aids, engaging topics, creativity and fun. Learning a language is an enjoyable activity for me, and I want it to be the same for my students as well.

ITALIAN:

Italian is my mother tongue, and my first love. But simply being Italian doesn't mean being able to teach it. I have received formation in using the tools and techniques to ensure comprehension and learning. I also believe that learning Italian entail taking a virtual trip throughout the country, where we can focus on the many aspects of our wonderful culture. Classes are focused on conversational skills, and always try to explore aspects of Italy in addition to the Italian language.
