"Hello! Bonjour! Hola! My name is Rhea S. and I am a language educator with 10+ years of experience. I am a polyglot speaking 8 languages out of which I teach French, English, Spanish, Hindi and Novice Mandarin. Ever since I was in kindergarten, I've wanted to teach. All the educators and tutors in my life have had such an incredible impact that it only motivated me further to be as inspiring to my students like they were to me. My passion for learning languages began in 2008 and it only deepened with time.

English, French and Hindi were languages I learnt at school. My keen interest in French pushed me pursue to it at the Alliance Francaise de Bombay where I completed my B2 following which I completed my C1 and Business French in Paris. I started out as a tutor in 2010 and ever since I have taught over 400 students as a Tutor, Corporate Language Trainer, Educator at an American School as well as a language specialist at a Language Institute. I also worked as a Freelance French Language Translator at 2 corporate firms. In 2014, I challenged myself to learn a language as beautifully complex as Mandarin and completed HSK 3 in 2017. Since then I've taught Novice Level Mandarin at a Language Institute. In 2021, I commenced my Spanish learning journey and have recently been certified B1. I currently teach Spanish at the ICC in California. I have taught English as a foreign language to employees of the VFS Global Centre. My strong desire to give back to the society led me teach English as a volunteer at an NGO to which I've been associated since 2020. I am currently pursuing Turkish. I hope to never stop learning new languages and being a student all my life.

I believe the teachings of an educator go beyond the realm of the subject. That is what I intend to do with my classes. Success would mean that I teach more than just the language in an out of box way and hope that my teachings leave a footprint in the lives of the learners." less...
