I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with honors in my major. During my time at the University I tutored with the Center for Educational Opportunity, providing tutoring to first-generation college students. This job afforded me the opportunity to hone my tutoring skills and work with students of varying ability levels. I also attended graduate school for one year before withdrawing from my program; there I further developed my language and teaching skills. Since then, I've continued to tutor privately through various websites.

I have also been playing guitar for over 17 years and teaching privately for 8. I am able to teach various aspects of guitar playing--from music theory and music reading, to simply being able to play along to one's favorite songs or jamming in a band.
