"Hello, My name is Jeff and I would like the opportunity to show you how to be confident with math problems by taking the frustration out of it. Raising two children of my own I saw first hand how a teacher can either make or break the way you learn math. No matter how good the teacher is, one-on-one instruction is the best way to supplement what has been absorbed in the classroom.

My goal is to take what has been learned in the classroom and build on that by helping students gain confidence understanding the "rules" of math that never change. Math concepts can be difficult at all levels, and can be discouraging especially when expected results are not achieved. I have found that true success comes from a basic understanding along with repetition, encouragement and a positive learning environment.

I have a mathematics degree from the State University of New York, Potsdam. My entire career of 40 plus years has been spent in the mathematics field. I am currently employed as an Operations Research Analyst/Mathematician in the aviation industry and consider myself to be a hard working, friendly and patient person. My experience ranges from elementary to high school level math. I am available to meet at any location that is comfortable for the student.
