"Hi, I’m Andrew! I’m a photographer and video creator with a technical, hands-on approach to teaching. I help beginners and intermediate learners build confidence with their camera, understand manual settings, and develop practical shooting and editing skills.

I have a pre-engineering foundation, which shapes how I teach: I break complex systems into clear steps. In photography, that means understanding how aperture, shutter speed, and ISO work together (not memorizing or relying on presets).

I have nearly a decade of experience with mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting, and post-production tools like Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro. My work includes personal projects, freelance and collaborative shoots, with an emphasis on automotive photography, pet photography, and controlled indoor studio setups. I also help students build efficient workflows that fit their goals.

My teaching is primarily one-on-one coaching. I’ve guided students through manual mode, composition and lighting fundamentals, and step-by-step editing. I work with students of all ages and adapt lessons to each person’s pace and learning style.

My lessons are patient, structured, and practice-driven: clear explanation, guided shooting or editing, then feedback and next steps. I aim to make photography approachable and confidence-building, not overwhelming.

As a passionate photographer, being able to see my students develop their skills and progress with their craft is a deeply rewarding experience. I believe with proper guidance, anyone with passion for this medium is capable of taking their work to the next level.
