"Hello, I'm April! I'm currently pursuing a computer science degree, which has deepened my understanding of programming fundamentals and best practices. However, my journey with Python began in 2020 as a self-taught hobbyist, driven by curiosity and passion for the Python language. Through countless hours of experimentation, debugging, and personal projects, I've developed proficiency with Python, including Flask for web development. The combination of formal education and hands-on experience gives me a unique perspective on both the theoretical foundations and practical applications of Python programming.

My teaching approach centers on project-based learning, where students learn by building real applications rather than memorizing syntax. Over the past year, I've been tutoring and helping my students advance their Python skills tremendously. We've worked on diverse projects that keep them engaged while reinforcing concepts. I believe in working at each student's individual pace, ensuring they truly understand each concept before progressing. This patient approach allows students to build confidence alongside their technical skills.

Whether someone wants to build their first web application or simply understand programming fundamentals, I have numerous projects planned to help them apply what they've learned immediately. Topic we'll cover include the basics (data types, functions, flow control) as well as more advanced topics like file I/O, OOP, and, if desired, web development with Flask.
