I also studied at Universidad Centroamericana (UCA) in Nicaragua, which deepened my academic and cultural connection to the Spanish-speaking world. As a native Spanish speaker who has lived in the United States for over 37 years, I bring a unique blend of bilingual fluency, cultural insight, and professional experience to my tutoring.

My passion for teaching Spanish has grown through years of service and outreach. I’ve interpreted on medical and mission trips across Central America—including Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and El Salvador—and worked with church youth groups in various settings. Currently, I volunteer to teach English to immigrants through Grandview Church of Christ, which has strengthened my understanding of language learning from both sides.
