"As a life-long student, I love learning. I enjoy learning myself, and I find it extremely rewarding to help others in their learning. Throughout my life, I have especially found joy in learning languages, and I look forward to helping you with your language learning or focus on history. As a teacher, I will meet you where you are at and help you attain your goals.

I am currently a PhD researcher, which means I have had significant experience with Classics, especially Latin and Greek. In addition to taking numerous classes in Latin and Greek and reading classical texts on my own, I have also had significant experience tutoring Latin and Greek, even while I was an undergraduate. This has helped me develop as an effective and compassionate teacher.

Having been on both sides of the process, I understand the challenges of learning languages, especially Latin and Greek. I know what it takes to learn an ancient language, and this enables me to become a more effective and helpful teacher. My goal is not simply for my students to be able to just pass an exam or be able to regurgitate information, but I want to help them feel confident reading the texts they want to read and understand how the language works - and to be excited about it!

Although I am primarily a language and literature tutor, I also have a broader knowledge base of the classical world, such as in history and philosophy. As such, I am also excited to help others understand the Greek and Roman worlds in all their facets.
