"I’ve done quite a bit in my 33 years and I’ve found the most fulfilling thing I’ve ever done to be teaching. To me, it’s more than knowledge retention and regurgitation; comprehension and application is when the real light bulb moment happens. Seeing that moment when someone truly understands is my ultimate goal.

In my professional life. I spent seven years as an Army Helicopter pilot finishing my career as a UH-60 Blackhawk Instructor Pilot. Being a pilot is a very knowledge-heavy profession. We were required to be versed in many various topics as one could imagine and as an instructor pilot, I was also responsible for the proficiency of those crew members under my responsibility. Topics I taught included aerodynamics, weather, aerospace law and regulation, aeromedical and physiological factors, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, tactics, and crew coordination to name a few.
After my time on active duty, I spent another seven years as a contract instructor teaching various subjects at the US Army SERE School until I stepped away at the end of 2024.
I’ve been happily married for thirteen years. I have two awesome boys who are homeschooled. Since leaving the military, I have settled in Geneva County, Alabama. I’m currently a K9 Officer with Geneva Police Department. I graduated from Troy University Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2024z My focus areas were military operations, history and English.
I pride myself on my ability to adapt to various learning styles. Everyone learns differently and their individuality should be taken into account. I have no problems with public speaking or teaching large groups. My particular favorites are creative writing, history, and earth sciences to name a few.
I truly hope that I can help unlock your potential and overcome any struggles you may have academically." less...
