"My name is Joshua and I have been tutoring and teaching various subjects since high school, nearly twenty years of experience. I especially enjoy helping students with reading and writing in both English and Hebrew.

I have a BA in Classical Civilization and Linguistics from UMass Amherst, and a profound understanding of language and how to use it. I can help you learn to read and write with greater fluency, carry conversation with poise, or give a killer speech or sermon.

I also studied Teaching Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) at Brandeis and have an MA in Jewish Studies from Hebrew College. I teach Biblical and Rabbinic Hebrew up to an advanced level, and introductory Modern Hebrew. I have many years of experience in Bar/Bat/B’nai Mitzvah prep - teaching every skill you or your child need for that special day.
