"I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Middle Grades Mathematics from Mercer University and am fully certified in the state of Florida to teach Mathematics (Grades 5–9) as well as K–12 Exceptional Student Education.

With 18 years of experience teaching elementary, middle, and high school students, I’ve worked in a wide range of learning environments—including traditional classrooms, small-group intervention settings, and one-on-one instruction. In addition, I have 10+ years of experience as a private tutor, supporting students who need targeted remediation, enrichment, confidence-building, or advanced problem-solving challenges.

My teaching approach centers on building a strong mathematical foundation that students can carry with them as they progress through more rigorous levels of math. I focus on clarity, conceptual understanding, and step-by-step strategies that reduce anxiety and increase confidence. I believe all students can succeed in math when they are given the right tools, clear explanations, and patient, supportive guidance.
