"Learning has always been my passion, and teaching is what I love doing!

I teach ESL in a school in San Diego and I have experience with study abroad programs. I have a total of 10 years of teaching experience. I've tutored honors program students and high school / college preparation writing classes. The success of my students is my goal.

I taught English as a second language for 4 years in Brazil, and I worked with all age groups. I had a special class with the computer programmers from HSBC bank there. I also taught English in a private school from first grade to high school. I love seeing a student making progress and becoming independent in a subject.

Here in the U.S. I worked as a tutor in before and after school programs, helping the students with homework and projects. I planned educational activities as well. In college, I always finished the semesters with honors, and was recognized through scholarships and nominations.

I love cooking and I have experience as a cooking instructor for children, a fun project for home-schooled kids!

I believe learning should be fun and that each student has a different pace and way to achieve his potential. I like customizing my classes according to their needs and make it an enjoyable experience.

I speak Portuguese, English, and intermediate French (my new passion), and I love traveling and learning about cultures. I believe that learning is a process that should never end!" less...
