"I'm a teacher at M. Township. I currently teach all levels of Physical Science (from honors to college prep)!

My past experiences with teaching include subjects like geology, anatomy + physiology, ecology, and biology. I believe my personal experiences and background in education would make me a valuable addition to your student's learning!

My interest in education expanded while I attended Millersville University as an undergrad. While earning my degree in Biology, I mentored incoming students as an orientation leader. I also

had the joy of working at the Philadelphia Zoo as an Animal Behavior and Educational Out-reach Intern. My educational outreach did not stop at the Zoo. I used my art and leadership skills to lead a

group of 4 Millersville Students in completing a coloring book for Manakins, endangered birds of South America. The degree I earned from Millersville University was a Bachelor of Science: Biology.

After graduating from Millersville University, I immediately entered the workforce as a State Park Ranger for Pennsylvania. I graduated from Temple’s Police Academy in 2018 in order to continue my career as a State Park Ranger. As a Ranger, I had the opportunity to strengthen my adaptability in day-to-day schedules and handle emergency incidents as well as high conflict situations. I enjoyed my time as a Ranger, but it never satisfied my need to share my knowledge of science. In 2020, I decided to become a traditional educator and began my career path at Millersville University for a Post-baccalaureate degree in Life Science, Secondary Education.

While earning my Post-baccalaureate, I was a student-teacher for Conestoga Valley High School. I really enjoyed the community atmosphere among the Science Teachers, as well as the staff. I had the opportunity to take part in Character Strong, teaching young people to be apart of a community with my mentor, Ms. Gonzalez's management team.
