"Hello! I'm Jules, and I tutor because I love to learn! I have a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, so I know a lot about biology and other sciences. I got great scores on my GREs and SATs. When I was in high school and younger, I really loved my English/ Language Arts classes. I've tutored students from ages 6-13, and I have experience with one-on-one tutoring and small group tutoring. In the past, I have used the Socratic method and questions to get to know what level of comprehension my student has. We then work with drills, application, and other techniques based on what will work best for my student. I think that the tutor-student relationship is important, because at the heart of it, you're trying to get someone excited about learning.
