"Hello. My name is Nasim. I am a senior physics student in California(BS). I am passionate about mathematics, science, especially physics, and teaching. I would love to share whatever I know about a subject with you. I have experience tutoring adults and children of different ages both online & in person(as an after-school tutor) for a couple of years(since 2021), and I look forward to much more to come. I enjoy academic discussions with others and join study sessions often; from the feedback I received from students, my classmates, and instructors, I believe I could explain things clearly and contribute constructively. I believe in the saying that the only time you know you have learned a subject well is when you can put it in simple words and teach it to someone else. As a student myself, I understand the difficulties you might be facing. I will prepare the material based on the objectives we set together. I am determined to make this a good experience for you. I have been lucky to have many great math & physics instructors who inspired me in the subject, and I wish to do the same for other students. Math would be more interesting if we didn't treat it like a series of steps to follow but instead tried to reason it out. I often learn a lot from visualizations and enjoy learning about various applications of each topic when it's relevant. I will try to include those in my teaching as well. Another essential part of learning subjects like math & physics is practicing and solving as many problems as possible. I will try to present you with different ideas and examples on each topic while helping you figure them out, step by step, on your own.
