"I love teaching -- having both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education, I've been teaching Business English and Accent Reduction online to professionals around the world for the last nine years. Many students are working in the high-tech field, looking forward to promotions and more demanding professional challenges. Prior to teaching online, I taught English internationally in China, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kurdistan and Mozambique for more than 15 years. Recently, essay and research paper editing has become a more active element in my teaching strategies.

As a teacher, my teaching style is one of being willing to try new strategies and activities, as well as work hard following our textbook. I'm flexible, and connected with my students and we can do problem-solving or conversation development as part of every class. Student can enhance vocabulary and learn new ways to effectively improve their accent while speaking with me as their sounding board. They will also develop confidence to communicate in a variety of different settings, practice new sentence structures, and expand the "song of English".

After working together, students are able to start using complete sentences and strategies to explain complex ideas and concepts, while also being able to listen to and follow native speakers comfortably. We will focus on the language elements most important, whether it's reducing or editing the accent, or enhancing business strategies and targets.
