As a person with dyslexia and autism, I know what it's like to struggle to learn, to lose confidence, and to not feel supported. The reason I got an English degree was to prove to myself that despite my disabilities, I could flourish. Now, I want to give you the tools I used to succeed.

These tools include promoting a growth mindset, using Bloom's Taxonomy, and ensuring students have the opportunity to take charge of what they want to learn. I acquired these skills at South Texas College, where I studied Education, Anthropology, and English for my Associates in 2015. During this time, I also tutored as a Supplemental Instructor in English, Science, and Math for one-on-one and group sessions with senior high school and freshmen to graduate college students. Later, I specialized in English Linguistics for my Bachelor's at the University of Texas Rio Grande, where I doubled down on my tutoring in English, eventually broadening my horizons to include online platforms. At the end of my academic learning, I became certified as a CRLA 3 tutor, also known as a master tutor in 2019.
