"I grew up in Southern Idaho, obtained my GED in 2017, and attended the College of Southern Idaho (CSI) from 2017 through 2019. From 2017 through 2020 I worked in the Peer Tutoring center at CSI, specializing in statistics and accounting. I worked with over 500 students over those three years, including many dual-credit and non-traditional students (i.e., students older than 25).

I continued tutoring for CSI when I transferred to The College of Idaho (CofI) to finish my Bachelor's in accounting, gaining the education required to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). I graduated from CofI in 2022 and began my career as an Audit Associate at KPMG - Boise, becoming a licensed CPA in 2024. I left public accounting in 2024 to work in industry, and I now work with a microchip and semiconductor production company as a Senior Accountant.

I believe that there is no such thing as a dumb question or a bad student. I also believe that tutoring is about more than the subject material. Tutoring should motivate, inspire, and compel both the student and the tutor toward constant improvement." less...
