"I am a Virginia-licensed K-6 teacher with 7 years of teaching experience in elementary education. I hold a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from James Madison University and a TESOL certification. I have worked extensively with ESL students, children with IEPs, and students with reading disabilities, including dyslexia. I also have experience supporting homeschool families and can assist with curriculum selection and implementation.

I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach and specialize in structured literacy instruction. I am also trained in Reading Simplified, a phono-graphix, speech to print reading program. In addition, I have completed advanced coursework in reading disorders and strategies for lesson engagement.
