"I have been a student for many years and I continue learning new things every day. I am very familiar with the experience of being a student, whether it's at an Elementary level, Middle school level, High School, or college. I graduated from GMU with a Master's degree in Education K-6. GMU taught me to be resourceful, to cater my teaching to different learning styles, and to connect curriculum to the real world.

I believe that anyone can make academic progress with proper support from the tutor/teacher/mentor as well as hard work on the student's part. I also believe that learning should be rigorous but fun. I usually try to incorporate various methods of teaching and concrete materials to keep lessons fresh and interesting.

Aside from private tutoring 200+ hours through Wyzant's platform, I have taught an advanced S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)-based Kindergarten program at a private academy and taught Elementary students in a public school setting for over 8 years. Currently I'm supporting English language as an EL teacher in 2nd grade in a public school; I teach all the main subjects while focusing on developing language skills.
