"Hi, my name is Steven! I graduated cum laude at Northeastern University in May, 2019 with a BS in Chemical Engineering and Minor in Mathematics. In 2021, I received a Master's Degree in Chemistry from the City University of New York. Along the way, I've tutored students from middle school to college aged in every Math, Chemistry, and Physics subject you can think of.

Chemistry has been my passion since my first chemistry class in high school. After excelling in Advanced Placement Chemistry, I knew chemistry would be in my future so I chose Chemical Engineering as my major. In college, my curiosity was satisfied with chemistry classes such as Organic Chemistry, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Chemical Kinetics, and Quantum Chemistry, earning an In-Major GPA of 3.7.

My goal when I tutor is to spark the same interest in Chemistry and Math that I had as a young student. I accomplish this by creating a fun and engaging atmosphere that the student will feel comfortable in. I develop problem-solving techniques instead of rote memorization so that any future problem can be handled.
