"I'm Aaron! I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Physics. In college I realized that the classes I appreciated the most were not always the ones I was most interested in - they were the ones taught by professors who were genuinely engaging, explained why things work (not just how), and were willing to go the extra mile when I had questions. That experience shaped how I approach tutoring and I try to bring that same energy, curiosity and clarity to every session.

My tutoring style is best described as curious, unique and out-of-the-box. I ask a lot of questions to get students thinking for themselves and connecting the dots. I believe that understanding the "why" behind a concept is just as important as knowing the steps. That said, I also know when to shift gears and focus on repetition, especially when a student just needs to get the homework done.

I typically begin sessions by introducing the topic in a fun or unusual way, then explicitly teach the material followed by letting the student practice while I observe and jump in as needed. I work best with advanced learners who like to go deep and move fast, but I am also adaptable with students who need to slow things down.

I have over a year of experience tutoring, worked one-on-one with students who needed additional support and led a focused small group for those most at risk of falling behind. In addition to my academic background, I've worked as a teaching assistant, taught science over the summer and have even been published in scientific journals.

I specialize in Math, Science and English for students from grade 5 through sophomore year of college. I primarily tutor online but I offer in person with a 3 hour minimum.
