"Hi, My name is Liliana. I' m a bilingual (English/Spanish) professional with a degree in Social Communication, and I currently work as an ESE Paraprofessional in a School in Detroit, Michigan. I've always had a strong calling to work with children and help support their academic and emotional growth.

My background in communication has given me valuable tools to connect with students, listen with empathy and communicate clearly with families and staff. In my current role, I have opportunity to work closely with students who have exceptional needs, providing them with personalized support both inside and outside the classroom to help the feels safe, included and capable or learning at their own pace.

Being bilingual has been a huge asset, especially in diverse school communities where building bridges between cultures and improving family-school communication is essential. I genuinely enjoy creating positive environments and using creative strategies to keep students engaged and motivated.
