"I am a Spanish native speaker from Uruguay. I was an elementary school teacher before coming to the United States. I also taught Spanish literature in high school. In the US I got a PhD from University of Florida in Spanish Literature. I have taught in universities and colleges in this country for more than twenty years. As a tutor I worked with IB and Ap students. In Texas I helped high school teacher to prepare students for AP examination. I was also a grader for Advance Placement language and literature tests.

I like to help students advance their Spanish skills, improve their grades, and feel more self-confident. In each class I ask the students what their needs are, then I explain to them what my goals are for that day. I always give them options to insist on one aspect or another of learning so that they leave feeling that the class was worth it
