"I am a veteran educator with over 25 years of experience teaching and supporting students in elementary and middle school settings. I spent more than 20 years teaching middle school English Language Arts and currently work as an academic interventionist in a K–5 school, focusing on foundational literacy and math skills for struggling learners. I hold advanced degrees in education, teach graduate-level courses for educators, and am currently enrolled in a doctoral program focused on teaching and learning.

My tutoring approach is grounded in evidence-based instruction and the science of how the brain learns. I specialize in reading intervention (phonics, decoding, fluency, and comprehension), study skills, math instruction through Algebra 2, and learning strategies that help students become confident, independent learners. I have extensive experience working with students receiving RTI/MTSS support, students with IEPs, and students who need structured, explicit instruction tailored to their learning needs.
