"I am a certified literacy tutor through Lewis & Clark Community College, and have an Associate's degree in general studies I completed with them, as well. In addition, a have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Southern Illinois University, and have completed, while in school, over 21 hours of psychology courses. I completed two semesters of internship with DCFS, as well as at Alton Mental Health, in the forensic unit.

I am a certified drug and alcohol counselor and have worked with people with multiple disabilities as well as a variety of mental illnesses. I have also worked with individuals on probation and parole, both federal and state as well as case management.

I have worked with geriatrics, teens, children, women and men in the above setting. I have submitted to background checks for these jobs and have no findings, as well as being fingerprinted, and have an excellent driving record as well. I have done individual counseling, group counseling, public speaking, and am certified to teach MRT (Moral Recognition Therapy) which I have done for over four years. I live in Alton, IL and am just across the river from St. Louis. Therefore, I have easy access to both of these areas. I help home school my 4 year old granddaughter.
