"I'm the minister at the Seventh Avenue Church of Christ in North Nashville, and I serve the community. I received my Bachelor's degree in ministry from the Theological University of America In 2009 and had been preaching over a decade prior. I went to Mexico in 2010 to obtain certification to teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). In 2012, I tutored a Buddhist monk from Cambodia in learning English when I volunteered with the Nashville Adult Literacy Council (NALC). This lasted about six months.

For a year.while in college at Lipscomb University, I worked with Begin A new, helping men obtain their GED. I was blessed to work with one man there who completed his education in one semester. I've worked for NAZA as an after school tutor at the Murray Middle School location.

In 2013, I was a teacher's assistant for Schrader Lane Church of Christ's summer encroachment program that lasted for five weeks. As of now, I'm beginning a program to help children in ZIP Code to learn to read. I'm currently mixing the new with the time-honored methods, getting worksheets from Education.com and using other sites and apps to engage learners as well.
