"As a legal education administrator, professor, and career dream facilitator for 14 years for AA, BA, MA and JD students, I have taught over 120 unique courses in law, criminal justice, business, and test prep (bar and baby bar exams, LSAT) - including updating 21 curricula, and creating 9 courses. I have a BA (with all but thesis for the MA) from UC Irvine in Criminology, Law and Society, an MBA in Human Resources from Daniel Webster University, a USC LLM in Alternative Dispute Resolution, and a JD from Loyola Law School Los Angeles.
Before becoming an Academic Success Dean at an online hybrid law school, I was a dual program chair over paralegal studies/criminal justice/forensics and business/project management for a private undergraduate university - I loved teaching both online and onsite kinesthetic learners. I helped the Gen Ed department move the needle from below 40% to 84% using some onsite support labs. Eventually, I became an academic success dean at an online hybrid law school where I had been teaching as an adjunct and curriculum designer/updater, expanding educational access to legal educations/careers for diverse students. Highlights included raising the Baby Bar outcomes to approx. 5 times the state pass rate in 2022 and creating a CA bar exam essay/PT writing series from scratch that improved pass rates by 17%!
I enjoy practicing law but my superhero skill is helping students with writing, pre-law, law and bar essay and performance test skills." less...
