"Hello! My name is Vivian, and I'm excited to work with you!

I'm a doctoral student earning my degree in Optometry, and I have a strong science foundation after completing my Bachelor's in Natural and Applied Sciences, which is a fancy way of saying I studied a lot of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I know how challenging these subjects can be, and I love helping students break them down into something understandable and approachable.

I’m happy to work with students of all ages, from elementary school to undergraduate university students! Whether you need support in science, math, English, or test prep, I’ll meet you where you are and tailor our sessions to your goals and learning style.

I’ve taken many standardized exams over the years and performed in the top percentiles, including being named a National Merit Scholar Finalist for scoring in the top 1% of test-takers nationwide on the SAT and PSAT. If you need support with test prep or English reading and writing, I’m happy to help you there too!

I’ve worked as a Chemistry Learning Assistant and have helped many students succeed by explaining tough concepts in a clear, patient, and encouraging way.
