"I attended the University of Connecticut for Animal Science. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science and an Associate's Degree in Equine Science. After graduating, and realizing I did not want to become a vet, I enrolled at Sacred Heart University to obtain my Master's Degree in Secondary Education, with a concentration in Science.

I taught in public schools for a year and a half, then transitioned to teaching in the state correctional system. I have found great success in my current position. Because I teach hard to reach students, I have to make clear connections to subject matter, and make science fun. I have taught Environmental Science, Animal Behavior, Biology, Honors Biology, Physical Science, Earth Science, Anatomy and Physiology and GED Prep in Science.

I specialize in HS Biology, Ecology, Anatomy and Physiology, Zoology, and am comfortable working with Physical Science, Earth Science and Chemistry.
