I am a Saint Vincent's College educated surgical instrument preparer who practices with credentials issued by an international certification board known as the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution, Incorporated (CBSPD # 27103).

Upon graduating from the Sterile Processing and Distribution program at Saint Vincent's College in 2012, I was recruited by the Department of Perioperative Services at the Vail Valley Medical Center in Vail, Colorado. There, I worked on a team responsible for the procurement and processing of surgical instrumentation not only for the medical center itself, but for its three surgical affiliates as well: the Vail Valley Surgery Center, the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic and Summit Orthopedics.

I also enjoy serving as a member-in-good-standing of the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation as well as having professional interests that include, but are not limited to: surgical anatomy, vascular anatomy, hematology, hepatology, diagnostic phlebotomy, cognitive neuroscience, neurochemistry, forensic pathology, organ transplantation, and human biology.
